Researchers are skeptics but skeptics are not necessarily researchers. Research is a journey but not a destination. Every achievement is a milestone that marks the end of the beginning of another journey. Long before you know your hair has turned white due to the intense intellectual pursuit. Whether your research is appreciated or not the researcher continues his pursuit. Not for money or fame but may collect both along the way. Publishing the first journal paper will face the greatest resistance, likely so, because nobody believes that you have done great work. Work that is unearthly conceived in the mind not available in this world. Peer review is the current method to assess a piece of research whether it exceeds basic requirement, it’s an art not a science. It is always wonderful to make many friends who are researchers. Not only do they comment constructively, they are also the ones interested in your work. To build such a pool of friendly researchers the budding researcher must truly do some good work worthly of the attention of the seniors.
