Startup due to research

Hitherto deterministic QoS guarantee for the Internet has been an illusive dream for ISPs. Otherwise, ISPs would have offered profitable virtual leased circuit over the existing Internet infrastructure. This could be one of the main reasons: while there is no lack of scheduler proposals, to the best of my knowledge, none has been able to provide the scalability and simplicity for wide spread implementation in the Internet. A comprehensive solution that is both scalable for practical network of any size and allows gradual or partial implementation as ISP operators could be operating in countries in different phases of development.

It will be wonderful to have a solution allows an ISP to offer both guaranteed QoS and best-effort services in parallel.  This is highly impactful because every user on the Internet is a potential customer and the Internet is now carrying not very profitable traffic. So anyone out there with 10 million to buy 30% of the startup? As my IP rights will go to the company, I will take away 2 million and leave 8 million in the company. Good innovation is very hard to come by.  I have already trained a team of excellent graduating students who can do such work. I will probably employ a good project manager and a dynamic marketing and sales manager to market the service to ISPs. Many startups fail because they are just technological startups – only concentrate on technology. Users do not care about technology. It is how the technology affects their lives that is important. We cannot stop at that. We must be able to sell the services so that we have many streams of revenue like what Steve Jobs did to Apple. I hope that I can get someone before I publish the best research ideas I have. Any one out there interested?

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
